Amazon Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management:
• Manage inventory levels across FBA and multiple warehouses to prevent OOS and overstock.
• Do forecasting and analysis on sales velocity to identify the sales, movement and behavior of all products.
• Finalize SKUs and qty for Purchase Orders (POs) based on the forecast and analysis on the sales trend and performance.
• Negotiate with suppliers for more discounts especially for bulk orders.
• Monitor the production status and ensure that the agreed completion date is met.
• Book for QA inspection from a 3rd party inspection company, and assess and analyze the QA inspection report.
• Send RFQs to different forwarders to have some options.
• Calculate the shipping cost per unit based on the quotes received.
• Coordinate with the forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods of all shipments.
• Plan shipment consolidation from different suppliers when needed.
• Maintain and monitor COGS tracker.
• Ensure that the suppliers and forwarders are in contact to avoid delays.
• Get the confirmed ETDs and monitor the shipping lead time based on the agreed ETA, and send follow up
• Coordinate with the 3rd party warehouses for any inbound and outbound shipments.
• Analyze the SKUs needed to replenish based on FBA days of supply and sales velocity, and request for inventory transfer from 3PL to Amazon.
• Create Amazon shipment plans based on what are needed to replenish, and calculate the shipping cost (both SPD or LTL).
• Monitor Monthly Storage Fees, Aging Inventory Surcharges and the new Low Inventory Fees.
• Coordinate with the Advertising Team to plan movements on slow-moving SKUs.
• Reconcile inventory from different 3PLs for any discrepancy.
• Do shipment reconciliation for any unreconciled shipments.
• Request for reimbursement for all unreconciled shipments and provide necessary documents to get the request approved.
