Profile Description

Rodolfo started to build his IT skills as a technical support and immersed himself with every knowledge and experience to be efficient and reliable. Eventually dUpgrade to see actual info to take a level up of his IT skills and knowledge, he took Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) exam and aced it and that started presented many opportunities and began a new journey from becoming a junior network administrator. As the year progressed, acquiring more experience and knowledge in computer networks (getting better at it as well) and he became a senior network administrator.
Fast forward to the pandemic, Rodolfo finds a time to study and expose himself to Microsoft's Azure and Information Security. Rodolfo focused on building his information security foundation by studying and successfully passed the exams of reputable security organizations such as Fortinet's Network Security Expert (NSE) Level 1&2, CompTIA's Security+ SY0-501, CompTIA CySA+ CS0-002 and ISC2's Certified in Cybersecurity (CC). Countless hours of studying and passing the exams, Rodolfo landed an IT security related work in 2021 where he monitors security alerts such as risky sign-ins and other suspicious network activity on the organization. He also participated in security compliance, Risk and Vulnerability Assessment. Planning and executing phishing simulations.
Currently, Rodolfo is working as a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist focused on patch management, network security and system administration. His passion and discipline to continue learning in information security (and other exciting new technologies) is continuous as cybersecurity is essential to not only for businesses but for personal protection as well.
