Profile Description

I am a licensed professional teacher in the Philippines, where I attained my Master of Arts in Language Education degree at the Bataan Peninsula State University. Also, I am studying for my Doctorate in the Doctor of Philosophy in English Language Education degree at the Philippine Normal University. 

My academic journey has extended beyond the classroom as I presented my research studies at different international conferences and published a book entitled "Read Our Minds: A Compilation of Action Researches." In addition, I worked for six years as an English language and research teacher at Mariveles Senior High School-Sitio Mabuhay in Bataan, Philippines, where I was awarded Outstanding Teacher of the Year 2022. Moreover, I am teaching English at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonbury in Bangkok, Thailand.

I excel in my field. However, I aim for a career change, particularly in entering the corporate and digital industry, as I want to grow and develop beyond the scope of education. I studied various branding and digital marketing courses, where I earned some achievements by becoming a Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate and gaining a Google Digital Marketing and E-Commerce certification.

Being a research and English language teacher equips me with skills like critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving that can be highly beneficial in a corporate setting. Such skills are valuable in corporate roles, especially in data analysis, market research, and strategic planning. Also, I possess essential skills in writing and communication, which is crucial in the corporate world for clear and effective communication with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders and for creating reports, proposals, and other written materials essential for business operations and marketing.

I also do freelance work, where I usually write articles and research studies that often require adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning. These qualities are valuable in a corporate environment where industries and markets evolve, and employees must stay abreast of new developments. Therefore, as someone with a background in research, I have project management skills that can be applied to corporate projects, ensuring efficiency and successful outcomes.
