JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Virtual Insurance Claim Estimator to join our team. This position will work directly with a field agent to estimate property damage related to insurance claims and collaborate with homeowners and insurance adjusters. The ideal candidate will have experience as an Insurance Claim Adjuster, understand the insurance claims process, and be able to interpret homeowner policies. Proficiency in software applications such as Xactimate and Company Cam is essential, along with excellent communication skills in English to ensure clear and professional interactions with clients.
The work schedule for this position is 5 am to 2 pm Manila Time, with a 60-minute lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

Damage Estimation:
Accurately assess and estimate property damage for insurance claims using Xactimate software.
Review and analyze damage reports, photographs, and supporting documentation through Company Cam to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Ensure all estimates comply with insurance company guidelines and homeowner policy terms.

Claims Process Management:
Manage the estimation process from start to finish, ensuring that all documentation, photos, and estimates are submitted on time.
Assist in coordinating follow-up with insurance adjusters and contractors as needed to ensure claim approval and proper settlement.
Track claims progress, addressing any issues or delays that arise during the process.

Client Communication and Support:
Communicate with clients (homeowners) in a professional, clear, and empathetic manner, providing updates on the estimation process and answering any questions.
Serve as a liaison between the homeowner, the insurance company, and contractors to ensure all parties are informed and aligned.
Provide guidance and education to clients about their homeowner policies, claim procedures, and the repair process.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain organized records of estimates, reports, photos, and communications in the company's claims management system.
Generate and submit detailed, accurate claims reports and estimates to insurance companies and clients.
Ensure all documentation is compliant with insurance and company standards and ready for audit if necessary.

Software Utilization and Technical Proficiency:
Use Xactimate to create detailed and accurate cost estimates for property damage repairs.
Utilize Company Cam to efficiently document and manage property damage evidence.
Continuously update skills with these platforms to ensure efficient and effective use.

Qualifications:
Extensive understanding of the insurance claims process.
Proficiency in Xactimate and Company Cam software applications.
Strong knowledge of homeowner insurance policies and the ability to interpret policy coverage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in both the insurance and construction industries.
Certification in Xactimate or similar estimating software is an advantage.
AIC (Associate in Claims) or other relevant certifications are beneficial.
