JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:
I’m an independent musician and creative freelancer based in the UK, looking for a reliable Virtual Assistant to support me with video editing, industry outreach, and admin. I need someone who can help me stay organised, find new opportunities, and assist with content creation—so I can focus on making music!
This is a long-term role with flexible hours, expected to be between 5 to 10 hours per week, depending on workload. You’ll be working closely with me, helping to streamline my workload and grow my presence in the music industry.
Key Responsibilities:
? Video Editing: Edit live performance footage and short-form social media content.
? Industry Research & Outreach: Find and compile a list of relevant industry contacts (e.g., music managers, promoters, PR reps).
? Email Admin: Draft and organise emails for me to review and send.
? Social Media Content Prep: Create and organise video content, saving it in a Google Drive folder for me to post.
? Tracking Responses: Keep a record of industry outreach and responses for follow-up.
? Weekly Check-in: Attend a 30-minute Zoom call to review tasks and progress.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong English writing skills (you’ll be drafting professional emails).

Experience with video editing software (Canva, CapCut, Photoshop etc.).

Previous experience working with UK/US clients (music industry experience is a bonus).

Excellent organisation and research skills.

Reliable internet connection and good communication skills.

Preferred but Not Essential:
An understanding of the UK music industry.
Someone who enjoys music- especially Soul Music!
Ad manager experience
Experience with content marketing or PR.

What I Offer:
Hourly pay at £5 per hour (with flexible hours between 5–10 hours per week).

A flexible, long-term opportunity with room to grow. There’s potential to increase as the role progresses.

The chance to work closely with an independent artist and learn about the UK music industry.

How to Apply:
Please send me:
