Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Virtual Assistant based in the Philippines with a strong background in U.S. government contracting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in researching bids and solicitations, reaching out to potential vendors, and providing administrative support for government contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bid and Solicitation Research:
• Identify and evaluate federal, state, and local government contracting opportunities using platforms like SAM.gov and other relevant portals.
• Conduct thorough research to align opportunities with business goals and prepare summaries for decision-making.
2. Vendor and Client Engagement:
• Reach out to potential vendors, subcontractors, and teaming partners to establish strategic partnerships.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and respond to inquiries promptly.
3. Proposal Support:
• Assist in drafting, editing, and submitting proposals for U.S. government contracts.
• Ensure compliance with all RFP/RFQ requirements, organizing necessary documentation such as past performance records and capability statements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver polished and timely submissions.
4. Contract Administration:
• Track and manage deadlines, milestones, and compliance requirements for ongoing contracts.
• Maintain accurate records of bids, solicitations, contracts, and correspondence.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with government procurement platforms such as SAM.gov and state/local portals.
• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and relevant project management tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in proposal writing and submission for U.S. government contracts.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or other U.S. contracting guidelines.
• Previous experience working remotely for international clients.
