VA Administrative

I am not just looking for a Virtual Assistant to just fill a job. I’m looking for an assistant to help me run and grow my business and to be with me for the long term. I need help with the variety of tasks that are part of an online coaching business.

Your job will be to take certain activities off my plate so I can concentrate on coaching clients, developing products and marketing materials, and guesting on podcasts.

I need you to be versatile and willing to learn, but not know EVERYTHING. A couple things that you WILL NOT have to worry about are web development and video editing and posting – those tasks will be taken care of by others.

Here’s what I’m looking for from you (so long as you’re willing to learn, you don’t have to have it all now)

I’d like you to have some marketing experience, or at least an interest in marketing and willingness to learn, as I’d like your help with certain aspects of marketing the business, such as minor editing and publishing content (but not creating it – I’ll do that) like email broadcasts and blog posts. If you have a creative nature and want to be part of content creation for the business, let's talk!

You need to be comfortable with responding to people via email, as I want your help responding to customers and potential podcast hosts. Just to let me know you read this, put the phrase “Podcasts rock!” in the subject line of your application.

It’s a bonus if you’re already familiar with some AI tools, like Claude, Descript, Metricool, and a few others

You’ll need to be familiar with and reasonably adept with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, along with Google Drive and the other Google Office tools.

I’d love some help organizing the operation, specifically with work flows and if you’re familiar with AirTable and/or Trello, very cool.

Of course, I want help also with managing email and calendars, and a few other general administrative activities
You will need to have good English skills

I want this to be full-time and a long term relationship. I will expect you to communicate with me and to be available.

Once we’re established, I don’t want to have to micro-manage you. I’ll expect you to behave like a grown-up and I’ll treat you like one – that means that you take care of your responsibilities and focus on doing good work, with regular check-ins, and we’ll get along fine. I expect Quality, not perfection and for us to have a mutually respectful relationship.

Real quick about the company

I’ve been coaching retail stock & currency traders for over 19 years, online with customers all over the world. It’s been just me for most of that time and 2 years ago, I hired a VA video editor to help me with my podcast.
