Medical Quality Assurance Specialist

In this rewarding role, you will:

Review and audit intake documents from patients
Ensure insurance current and accepted
Ensure all tests have been ordered and completed, and present in the medical record
Coordinate with medical providers as needed for clarification of reports
Work with our in house appointment schedules to request additional appointments as necessary

You must have:

Minimum 1 year minimum of experience in a clinical setting working directly with providers
Strong knowledge and understanding medical billing
Ability to follow up with patients to set appointments and collect records
Ability to write clear questions to submit to the provider
Experience working with medical providers (credentialing, medical coding, chart audits, triage, scribe, nursing)

Preferred to have:

Experience assisting with medical tests, treatments and procedures
Knowledge of TheraNest
Working with Mental Health
Knowledge of Medicare / Medicade
Knowledge of Drug and Alcohol Recovery
