We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join a US-based chiropractic company operating in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone. Job Description
As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the HR department with employee record management, recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and general administrative tasks. Since you’ll be working with a US-based company, you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and supporting operations in a different time zone.
Key Responsibilities
• Employee Record Management – Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, manage databases, and assist with HR audits.
• Recruitment Support – Post job ads, schedule interviews, coordinate candidate communication, and conduct initial screenings and reference checks.
• Onboarding & Orientation – Facilitate the onboarding process, manage new hire paperwork, oversee E-Verify compliance, and coordinate training sessions.
• Administrative Support – Answer calls, manage calendars, prepare reports, and assist with HR events and meetings.
• Benefits Administration – Assist in managing employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Policy Implementation – Help communicate and enforce company policies, including updates to employee handbooks.
• Employee Relations – Foster a positive work environment by supporting communication and conflict resolution.
• Performance Management – Assist regional managers with employee evaluations and performance tracking.
• Training Management – Coordinate necessary employee training and maintain status reports to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
• Education: High school diploma required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Prior HR experience is required. Must be comfortable using HR software and tools.
