JOB OVERVIEW

Hi there,
My name is Hannah Miet. I’m looking for a highly skilled, general virtual assistant to support me as I grow my company, Hannah Miet Consulting — a small marketing (B2B thought-leadership-focused content strategy and brand positioning) agency based in Los Angeles. Our mission is to help leaders in commercial real estate (CRE), proptech, and financial services turn their expertise into compelling, strategic content that builds trust and drives business growth.

I specialize in delivering thought leadership, content strategies, and messaging services, but as my client base grows to include coaching clients, I need help managing both business operations, admin, content marketing for the business, and day-to-day workflow. That’s where you come in.

What I Need
I’m looking for someone who’s proactive, detail-oriented, organized, and good at independent problem-solving. You’ll act as a valued partner, helping me save time and stay focused on the big picture. This is not just a list of tasks—it’s an opportunity to collaborate and play a critical role in the smooth running of a fast-growing marketing consultancy.

Here are some of the specific outcomes I need your help achieving:


Email
Management
Proficiently filter, sort, and manage my inbox. This includes addressing spam, drafting responses, and thoughtfully handling client correspondence in my voice.
Organize email threads and flag urgent messages to keep communications clear.
Scheduling and Calendar Management
Manage my calendar, schedule appointments, and ensure meetings align with my priorities.
Act as a gatekeeper by maintaining time boundaries and resolving conflicts.
Social Media and Content Staging
Create and schedule posts on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms using tools like Canva.
Assist with staging and publishing blog posts or newsletters, ensuring consistency in tone and quality.
Ongoing Quality Improvement and System Development
Document and improve workflows, streamlining systems to increase efficiency.
Develop spreadsheet templates (with formulas) and create easy-to-follow documentation for new processes.
Tech Support
Troubleshoot minor technical issues with tools I rely on—this includes platforms such as Google Workspace, Grammarly Pro, Loom Pro, or Zoom Workplace Pro.
Suggest and test new tools/software to refine workflows.
Set us up on new tools/platforms,.
Research and Analysis
Conduct personal and professional online research on topics like potential podcasts for me to appear on, virtual conferences, or emerging thought-leadership themes.
Compile insights into concise bulleted formats for quick review.
Project Management and Collaboration
Coordinate with clients and external teaUpgrade to see actual infombers (contractors), to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
Track projects within scheduling tools and ensure execution aligns with milestones.

Must-Have Skills and Experience
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through on commitments.
Experience with tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and Canva.
Proven ability to work independently, solve problems, and execute tasks insightfully.
Familiarity with AI prompts and willingness to learn new tools specific to content creation.
Scheduling and managing workloads for a fast-paced operation.
A strong sense of prioritization to tackle competing demands efficiently.
Bonus Skills
Familiarity with working with a founder with ADHD.
Experience supporting founders of small marketing agencies.
Advanced spreadsheet-building skills with complex formulas.
Fluency in professional social media, especially LinkedIn, for both personal and content branding.
