Role Overview:
As a DMCA Takedown, Copyright Infringement, and IP Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, tracking, and enforcing our intellectual property rights across various digital platforms. You’ll play a key role in monitoring for copyright infringement, submitting DMCA takedown notices, managing IP-related communications, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to protect our brands.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and Track Infringements:
Regularly monitor online marketplaces, social media, and e-commerce platforms for potential copyright infringements, counterfeit listings, and unauthorized use of our intellectual property.
• Execute DMCA Takedowns:
Draft, submit, and manage DMCA takedown notices to swiftly remove infringing content. Collaborate with platform administrators to ensure takedown requests meet platform-specific requirements.
• IP Rights Enforcement:
Enforce our company’s intellectual property rights by identifying and addressing cases of trademark, copyright, and patent violations across various digital channels. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant IP laws, especially those governing online copyright and trademark protection.
• Counter-Claim Management:
Respond to counterclaims, providing necessary documentation and working closely with legal counsel if escalated issues arise.
• Documentation and Reporting:
Keep organized records of all takedown notices, infringement cases, and resolutions. Generate regular reports on infringement trends and enforcement outcomes to support data-driven IP protection strategies.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with marketing, legal, and brand management teams to proactively identify potential areas of risk and stay aligned with brand protection goals. Provide recommendations for improving internal IP protection processes.
• Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary contact for external stakeholders on matters related to DMCA, copyright infringement, and IP enforcement. Engage with platform representatives, legal advisors, and external partners to ensure effective handling of IP claims.
• Policy and Best Practice Development:
Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficient DMCA takedown and IP enforcement processes. Educate internal teams on best practices for intellectual property protection, including guidelines for identifying and reporting potential violations.

Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in DMCA takedown processes, copyright infringement monitoring, and IP rights enforcement in a digital or e-commerce environment.
• Strong understanding of DMCA, copyright laws, intellectual property rights, and the unique challenges of protecting IP online.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to liaise with internal teams, legal advisors, and external platform representatives.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with a strong focus on maintaining meticulous records and tracking trends in IP enforcement.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing IP protection needs.
