Position Overview
As the Channel Distribution Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Otium’s properties achieve maximum visibility, competitiveness, and profitability across all distribution channels. You will analyze data, manage platform inventory and pricing, and develop strategies to enhance channel performance.
Key Responsibilities
-Channel Management: Maintain and optimize listings on OTAs, direct booking platforms, and other distribution channels to ensure maximum visibility and performance.
-Rate & Availability Optimization: Monitor and adjust pricing, inventory, and promotional strategies across channels to maximize revenue and occupancy.
-Listing Optimization for Search Ranking: Continuously optimize all property listings across OTAs (e.g., Airbnb,
-Best Practices Implementation: Keep up with industry trends, OTA algorithm changes, and platform updates to ensure all listings follow the latest optimization techniques
-Downtime Minimization: Monitor all OTAs to identify and resolve listing issues, syncing errors, or outages in real-time.
-Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
-Platform Integration & Performance Monitoring: Ensure proper property management systems (PMS) integration with OTAs and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Monitor and report on channel performance metrics.
-Rate Parity & Compliance: Ensure rate parity across all distribution channels while adhering to platform policies and best practices.
-Promotions & Campaigns: Work with marketing and revenue management teams to design and execute promotional campaigns on OTAs and direct booking channels.
-Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to align distribution strategies with business objectives.
-Reporting & Insights: Provide regular reports on channel performance, revenue impact, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in distribution, revenue management, or e-commerce within the hospitality or short-term rental industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and revenue management systems.
Experience working with OTAs (e.g., Airbnb,
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt and resolve issues across multiple platforms.
Prior experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) or channel management tools is beneficial but not required—we're willing to train the right candidate.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a self-motivated and organized approach.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
