We are seeking a creative and talented Call Handler to join our growing team. The role involves answering incoming telemarketing calls, interacting with telemarketers, playing along with their pitches, and ensuring all communications are accurately documented. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong command of English, and sound like a 65+ year old man.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Answer Incoming Calls: Handle and respond to telemarketing calls and text.
*Engage and Play Along: Interact creatively with telemarketers, playing the role of a potential customer.
*Maintain Persona: Speak in a manner that convincingly represents a 65+ years old American man throughout the conversation.
*Document Call Details: Accurately record key details of each conversation, including the telemarketer’s name, pitch, company details, and any other identifying details.
*Ensure Compliance: Follow internal guidelines for documenting calls, as all interactions are recorded.
*Manage Call Logs: Maintain an organized system for call documentation and retrieval of information when needed.
*Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties related to call management and documentation.
*Regular Communication: Expect to make and receive calls from the team as part of daily operations. This position requires real-time coordination via phone calls.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Must be amenable to work 34 hrs per week, during U.S. business hours
Shifts are 7 hours Monday to Thursday and 6 hours on Friday (PST/PDT) or 7 hours Tuesday to Friday and 6 hours on Saturday (PHT).

Shift 1: Mon-Thu 9 am - 4 pm & Fri 9 am - 3 pm = 34 hours
PHT/Philippines Time
Shift 1 (Mar-Nov) : Tue-Fri 12 am - 7 am & Sat 12 am - 6 am = 34 hours
Shift 1 (Nov-Mar) : Tue-Fri 1 am - 8 am & Sat 1 am - 7 am = 34 hours

*Strong organizational and time management skills.
*Familiarity with task management tools and processes.
*Excellent oral and written English.
*Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
*Personal drive, initiative, and resourcefulness with strong organizational skills within a highly dynamic changing environment.
*Quality noise-canceling USB headset and personal computer to be used for work, with a reliable internet connection and, in case of loss of power or internet, a backup plan or location that provides power and internet connection within 60 minutes of an outage.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
*College Graduate of any 4-year course.
*Fluent English speaker with strong verbal communication skills and clear, articulate speech.
*Ability to convincingly mimic an older male voice.
*A playful and adaptable approach to engaging with telemarketers.
*Strong note-taking and documentation skills.
*Previous experience in acting, voice work, or improv (preferred).
*Familiarity with up-to-date remote work software (Zoho suits, desktop sharing, cloud services, etc).
