Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable virtual assistant to help manage our bookkeeping and financial tasks using QuickBooks. As a small business with monthly expenses and incomes, we need someone who can efficiently manage day-to-day financial operations, assist with cash flow insights, and ensure our invoicing process runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Manage bookkeeping in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records.
Generate and send invoices to clients promptly.
Follow up with businesses to collect outstanding payments.
Track and categorize monthly expenses and income.
Provide insights into affordability and cash flow, helping with financial decision-making.
Communicate regularly with our Canadian accountant to ensure smooth handover of financial data.
Requirements:
Proficiency in QuickBooks and bookkeeping best practices.
Experience in handling invoicing and payment follow-ups.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Reliable internet connection and computer setup.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Canadian accounting practices.
Background in financial advising or budget management.
