We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Virtual Assistant – Bookkeeper to manage financial records, track expenses, and assist with general bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience in financial record-keeping, proficiency in accounting software, and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and transactions.
• Track and categorize business expenses.
• Assist in generating financial reports (e.g., profit & loss statements, balance sheets).
• Monitor cash flow and budget management.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payroll as needed.
• Ensure timely payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Assist with tax preparation by organizing financial data.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide administrative support related to bookkeeping and financial documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or virtual assistant handling financial tasks.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and bookkeeping best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with tea
• Familiarity with Google Sheets, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience working with e-commerce or Amazon-related bookkeeping is a plus.
• Understanding of financial compliance and tax regulations.
• Experience with automation tools for bookkeeping efficiency.
This is a remote position with flexible hours, but timely financial tracking and reporting are expected.
