Job Title: Social Media Video Editor

Role Mission:
Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager to create engaging, platform-specific video content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. This role focuses on repurposing long-form content into short-form, viral-ready videos while maintaining brand consistency and storytelling excellence.

Core Responsibilities:

Video Editing & Content Creation
Edit long-form content (e.g., webinars, interviews) into short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to transform newsletter and social media strategies into compelling video narratives.

Add motion graphics, captions, and visual effects to enhance engagement and accessibility.
Ensure all videos align with platform-specific trends and audience preferences.
Content Repurposing & Workflow Optimization
Repurpose existing video assets for multiple platforms, optimizing formats for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Leverage AI tools (e.g., Descript, Runway) to streamline editing workflows and reduce turnaround time by 50%.
Develop templates and SOPs for efficient cross-platform video production.

Collaboration & Brand Consistency
Work hand-in-hand with the Social Media Manager to ensure alignment on campaign goals and messaging.
Maintain a consistent visual style across all video content in line with brand guidelines.
Analytics & Performance Optimization
Monitor video performance metrics (e.g., watch time, engagement rates) to refine editing strategies.
A/B test video formats, styles, and CTAs to maximize reach and conversion.

Requirements:
3+ years of experience in video editing for social media platforms.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Experience in creating short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Strong understanding of storytelling principles and pacing for digital audiences. Familiarity with AI tools for video editing (e.g., Descript) and automation workflows (e.g., Zapier). Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects).
Knowledge of color grading techniques for a polished look.
Familiarity with project management tools like SmartSuite or Trello.
