Sales Focused Admin for Music School

Do you have a magnetic personality, a knack for sales, and love to connect with people? Best Lesson Ever!, the most exciting music school in Friendswood, TX, is looking for a charismatic and organized Administrative Assistant to help us grow and keep our studio running like a hit song.

Hours will start Mon-Fri from 3pm - 8pm CST, and grow to full time as you are training on our systems.


We’re looking for someone who can:

Book New Trials and Close New Enrollments: You'll engage potential clients and sell our music programs with confidence and charm.

Shine on the phone. Be the friendly, energetic voice that customers love to hear, using OpenPhone.com for calls and texts to connect with clients.

Keep a clean calendar. Schedule lessons, workshops, and events with precision using Opus1.io

Write emails. Create fun, professional, and persuasive communications to parents and prospects.

Design flyers. Craft eye-catching materials for events, promotions, and workshops.

Update digital signage. Keep our screens looking fresh and on-brand.


Skills You Must Have:

Proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets.

Experience with Opus1.io (or willingness to learn quickly).

Familiarity with OpenPhone.com for managing client communications.

A positive, can-do attitude with a sense of humor.

A background in sales and sales tactics

Bonus Points For:

Creativity in content creation (flyers, signage, etc.).

An outgoing personality that connects with people easily.

The ability to stay cool and organized under pressure.


This Role is for You If:

You’re a natural people person who loves making connections, selling great products, and staying organized. You’re not afraid to pick up the phone or send a well-crafted text, and you have fun while getting things done!

The Challenge:

Submit a video response and your answer to these two tasks to be considered:

1. Video Response: Submit a 2-4 minute video introducing yourself and your experience managing schedules. Tell us about a time when you faced a difficult scheduling problem and how you solved it.

2. Task 1: Managing a schedule can be difficult with so many moving parts. Here's a scenario:A teacher has a full day booked with students, but a new student is only available on that same day. The teacher does have other days open to teach, but the new student cannot switch their availability. How would you fit this new student into the teacher's schedule?

3. Task 2: We like our sales to be pressure-free, but we also know that certain tactics can help persuade someone to buy. How would you persuade someone to sign up for lessons in a way that is slightly aggressive but still very kind and positive?

We want to see your problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to strike the right balance in sales!
