Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Insurance Appointment Setter
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. Your primary role will be to call U.S. businesses and set appointments for insurance consultations with the goal of adding Aflac or similar supplemental insurance plans to their current or non-existent benefits package.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a dedicated professional who excels in phone-based outreach, is comfortable with high call volumes, and has a clear, friendly, and professional command of the English language.
Responsibilities:
Call U.S.-based businesses to introduce our insurance offerings and set appointments.
Identify key decision-makers and establish rapport with business owners or HR managers.
Communicate the value of adding supplemental insurance plans to their employee benefits.
Accurately document call outcomes, appointment details, and follow-up actions.
Meet or exceed daily/weekly performance metrics (e.g., number of calls, appointments set).
Collaborate with our internal team to improve scripts and overall outreach strategy.
Qualifications:
Excellent English communication skills – Clear, professional, and neutral accent is essential.
Proven experience in B2B appointment setting or telemarketing (insurance industry experience preferred).
Strong phone presence and the ability to engage in consultative conversations.
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and maintain high energy throughout the day.
Access to a quiet work environment, reliable internet connection, and a quality headset.
Work Schedule & Pay:
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Flexible schedule, but must overlap with U.S. business hours (Eastern or Central Time preferred).
Hourly Rate: $5–$10 per hour, based on experience and performance.
