JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented Workflow Documentation Specialist to work closely with one of our team members for a 1-month project. The goal is to observe and document their daily tasks, identify inefficiencies, and propose opportunities for process improvement. This role is critical in helping us optimize workflows and align responsibilities with the current needs of our business. You'll be required to sit on a zoom call during the hours they are working from around 7am cst - 3pm cst. If you are interested in this position, please apply with 13 apply points to be considered.

This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively. Training and templates will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Observation and Documentation:

Shadow a specific team member to record their tasks, processes, and workflows.
Note the time spent and purpose of each activity with accuracy.

Organize and Categorize Tasks:

Separate tasks into categories (e.g., essential, redundant, automatable).
Create a comprehensive list of observed workflows.
Highlight Inefficiencies:

Identify repetitive, unclear, or outdated tasks.
Suggest areas for improvement based on observations and guidance.
Reporting:

Prepare a simple, well-organized report summarizing daily tasks, inefficiencies, and recommendations.
Provide updates to leadership throughout the project.
Collaboration:

Work with management to ensure the documentation aligns with business goals.
Ask questions and seek clarification as needed.

Qualifications
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient in written and verbal English.
Familiarity with remote work tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace).
Basic understanding of workflow documentation or a willingness to learn.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Previous experience in operations, scheduling, or process improvement is a plus but not required.
