We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Writer and Contract Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for preparing compelling proposals for both products and services, managing communications with subcontractors, and organizing all elements required to bid on state and government contracts. Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development:
Write and assemble proposals in response to state and federal solicitations, ensuring compliance with all requirements and submission deadlines.
Conduct thorough reviews of solicitation documents (RFPs, RFQs) to extract and understand client requirements.
Provide well-structured and persuasive proposal samples upon request.
Subcontractor Engagement:
-Make calls and coordinate with subcontractors to gather quotes for required goods and services.
-Build and maintain a network of reliable subcontractors and vendors.
-Negotiate pricing and terms with subcontractors to ensure competitive proposals.
Project Coordination:
-Schedule and coordinate site visits when required by solicitations.
-Liaise with stakeholders to collect necessary information and approvals for proposal submission.
-Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
Platform Utilization:
Use
Stay updated on state and federal procurement processes, ensuring all proposals comply with current regulations and standards.
Document Management:
Maintain organized records of proposals, quotes, and contracts for future reference and auditing purposes.
Regularly update templates and databases to streamline the proposal writing process.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in writing and assembling proposals for state and federal contracts.
-Familiarity with solicitation processes, including interpreting RFPs, RFQs, and other contract documents.

-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant tools.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Previous experience in government contracting or procurement.
-Knowledge of pricing strategies and cost analysis.
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
