XL Strategies is looking for a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Sales Lead to join our team and support our government contracting work. This role involves finding contract opportunities, building strong relationships with subcontractors, and, most importantly, making daily phone calls to request quotes and determine subcontractors’ ability to fulfill project requirements. This role is currently part-time with the possibility of becoming full-time if proven high-quality work.
Working Hours:
Part-Time: 9 AM – 1 PM Eastern Standard Time (Monday - Friday).
Full-Time Potential: After demonstrating consistent high performance, there is an opportunity to move into a full-time role (9 AM – 5 PM EST, Monday - Friday).
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Daily Outreach: Make multiple calls daily to potential subcontractors, discussing project specifications and gathering quotes to meet contract requirements. Working on 3-4 contracts daily
• Identify Contract Opportunities: Find and qualify government contract opportunities on
• Manage Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and vendors, primarily through phone interactions to establish effective communication and reliable quotes.

• Meet Submission Goals: Aim to submit 30+ contracts per month, requiring a consistent daily and weekly output to stay on target.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify solutions to challenges that arise in the contracting process and remain adaptable to shifting priorities.
Qualifications:
• Fluent English: Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey information clearly over the phone and in writing.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in relevant tools like Asana, Gmail,
• Phone Communication Skills: Strong experience making multiple calls daily to request quotes and assess subcontractor capacity.
• Reliability: Proven track record of accountability, especially in high-stakes environments with deadlines and consistent updates.
• Self-Motivation and Initiative: Able to work independently and stay driven in a part-time role that requires minimal supervision.
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple contracts simultaneously.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset for overcoming challenges in contract fulfillment.
• Adaptability: Able to handle workload fluctuations and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Goal-Oriented: Driven to meet and exceed sales targets, with a commitment to achieving 30+ contract submissions per month.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in high-volume sales.
