JOB OVERVIEW

The Sassi Seamstress, a premium alterations and dressmaking business specialising in formal and bridal alterations, is excited to announce an opening for a dynamic Social Media and Virtual Assistant.

Our mission is to prepare women of all ages for their big events, and we are ready to scale up to reach even more local and global clients.

We are looking for a creative and savvy social media expert to help us increase our presence and engagement on Facebook and Instagram. The role will start at 15 hours per week, potentially increasing over time as we grow.

Responsibilities:
• Create engaging content, including reels, stories, and daily posts for Facebook and Instagram.
• Utilize tools such as Canva, Later, and MailChimp to enhance our social media strategy, plus able to navigate a WordPress website, WooCommerce and Etsy platforms
• Administrative tasks, such as cleaning up emails, data entry, managing Mailchimp, writing 2 x monthly newsletters
• Manage various online store platforms, such as WordPress, WooCommerce and Etsy
• Work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
• Attend weekly meetings to discuss progress and address any questions or concerns.

Requirements:
• Proficiency in all aspects of Facebook and Instagram.
• Ability to create high-quality visual and written content.
• Experience with social media management tools like Canva, Later, and MailChimp.
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
