I was a billing specialist for one of the leading clinics all over US. My main responsibility is to make sure that bills are accurate before sending the claims to different insurance companies. Also, part of my scope is to file an appeal whenever a claim gets denied or rejected. Added to my task is a verifier and a prior authorization specialist. Where we call insurance companies to get the exact medical coverage and authorization for our patients. This is to ensure that claims will not get rejected nor denied.
