I am working on a health care account in OPTUM. first i worked as a healthcare professional answering calls about claims and benefits of medical clients. I am dealing with professionals such as doctors, clinical staff and hospital representative. Then after that I jumped into a new role under the same company which is a non-voice account. I am sorting emails depending on the broker's request about the member's application for medical insurance. Just recently, I worked as a Patient Support Specialist for a laboratory company located in California. I am approving statements or bills sent out to the patient regarding their COVID tests. Answering calls about the status of their claims. I also send emails to the patients who has pending genetic tests to collect their payment. I also have experience as a medical biller using Kareo, Kinnser and Medicare tool. I also worked as a collection officer for unpaid bills under a lung clinic based in Florida. I know how to schedule appointments, send medical orders and insurance information.
