As a Payroll Specialist at Tax Goddess Business Services, P.C., I wear many hats to ensure smooth and compliant payroll operations for our small business clients across various states. My responsibilities span the entire payroll cycle, froUpgrade to see actual infoticulously processing bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and annual payrolls to managing deductions, benefits, and direct deposits. I ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations by filing accurate payroll tax returns and W-2s. Additionally, I stay updated on changing regulations and correct any filing errors using amendment forms.

Maintaining accurate employee records is paramount, so I manage earnings, deductions, benefits, and withholdings. I am also responsible for direct deposits, wage garnishments, and payroll adjustments.

Regular audits and timely reconciliation of accounts ensure the integrity of our payroll data. Excellent customer service is a key aspect of my role. I address employee inquiries promptly, resolve issues efficiently, and educate them on payroll processes and policies.

I continuously identify opportunities to enhance our workflow through best practices and documented procedures. Confidentiality and data security are crucial, so I ensure all payroll information is handled securely and complies with data protection regulations.
