I have been in the call center business for more than 12 years now, handling a range of responsibilities from outbound collections concerns to Global Human Resource person handling Workers Compensation and Medical Leaves for US employees, Mortgage Consultant (Australian Bank) assisting settlement, as well as Loan Processing Officer for personal Loans (Australian Firm), and then as Team Leader / HR Assist / Admin for Mortgage loan processing (Australian Broker). I have grown to love collections and have been accustomed to the trade and its intricacies. And now working from home as an Admin / Customer Support to a US based Security System.
I worked as collections' agent for 11 months and was promoted as a Quality Coach and was able to help develop and motivate agents. I was not merely confining myself to compliance but also teaching them my best practices in order to help them become better if not Best Collectors and/or Customer Service Consultants.
Prior experience in BPO / Call center, I worked as Warehouse / Tool Center Staff for more than 5 years, our key responsibilities are Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship), Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store), Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits, Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization, Complete diary logs into inventory, Report any discrepancies, Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers, Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment and Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
But above and over those above-mentioned, it is the character that I wish to share with my colleagues and to the company as well, that if I may expound on. I have always been a result-driven leader who understood that the demands of the industry are more than that of an empty promise but rather composed of that elusive payment. Needless to say, that is what you can expect from me.
This coupled with my experience as an agent all these years, I can easily relate to my agents, their difficulties and aspirations, which make me an effective motivator – who leads not by fear but by example. I have been there and it is that experience that I wish to impart with them. Of course, the above-said statements can be argued as but hearsay and its probative value arguable. I need not contest. I can promise you I will do my best in everything. My other co-applicants will be doing the same and I expect them to do so, but the industry again is driven by results. And as such, I let my record speak for itself.
