Been doing virtual assistance work since 2019. Prior to this, I was a team leader for the international call centers I've worked for, handling accounts for Telus Mobility, Citibank Australia, Dell Financial Services, and Google, to name a few.
I have perfected the art of customer service with all those years in the BPO. But working from home is a big jump from the corporate world, I can say I have learned to hone more skills too.
Being a team leader means more responsibility since you need to be a good model for the team to depend on; someone that will be able to stand for them and get things done in the most accurate and efficient way. This taught me the value of independence and being able to work under pressure.
