Profile Description

1. Responsible for the procurement of various automotive commodities covering a
global supply base, comprising direct and indirect purchases used within Wiring
Harness manufacturing process.
2. Ability to procure materials with the most favorable terms and conditions.
3. Issues RFQs to approved suppliers, check RFQ requests for completeness and
clarify and obtain necessary missing information where required.
4. Obtain and analyze quotations in accordance with established policies and
procedures. When necessary, resolve discrepancies or negotiate settlements to the
best possible long-term advantage of the organization.
5. Select and recommend supplier/s which includes negotiation on pricing, delivery,
quality and service.
6. Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve
shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
 Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times,
accurate pricing and purchasing, and other important data
