I worked as an Operations Officer in one of the companies in the US. Being an Operations Officer, a Data Management Center was created as a back office to help the smooth flow of the main operations. The company I worked for is into wholesale and retail of foods (fresh fish, seafood, and meat). I enter orders on my Philippine morning schedule, monitor prices should there be discrepancies, and update customer and vendor information in the software that the company uses such as Quickbooks, Nutshell, VictualNet, Toast. My tasks also include entering vendor invoices and customer invoices and entering sales information all in QB. I also send payment notifications to vendors and customers using Nutshell. Should there be discrepancies or verification, I will need to report and inform the Operations Manager immediately so that we will be on the same page.
There are times when Operations need to meet through Google Meet when plans for a system that could effortlessly and efficiently help smoothen operations by helping format Google Sheets and Docs and share files and folders to continuously complete the tasks that need to be done.
