As a Sales Development Representative, it's my job to set up appointments, generate leads and find potential clients for the sales team. I am the first step in the prospecting process, and sales teams rely on my persuasive abilities and creative methods of finding potential customers.

What I normally do in my role as a technical support representative is that I normally walk through the customer the step by step process how they can successfully setup their tools or devices so it will work once we have successfully set it up.

Once they confirm they can, I normally send them an invite to their email or calendar and assure them they can decide later after the meeting so they can move forward.

As a Telemarketer, or Telesales Representative, I am responsible for talking to potential customers on the phone to sell products or solicit donations. Our duties include tracking customer contact lists, explaining the benefits of the products and taking payment information.
Experience: 6 months - 1 year
As a retention specialist worker for an organization my goal is to retain current customers and clients. Depending on the industry, my duties might extend to internal retention, which concerns employees. In either role, we must ensure that the customer or employee is satisfied with what they are receiving from the company.
