I worked as a customer service representative for more than a year. My position is a Collections Advisor in an Australian bank campaign. Our main job is to call our customers about their past dues on their credit cards and personal loans while ensuring to acknowledge all possible issues they may encounter and need to address, especially those customers who are suffering from hardships. We make sure to provide excellent customer service by showing empathy to our customers and giving a positive impact, boosting their trust towards the company.
Experience: 2 - 5 years
I had my OJT (On-the-Job Training) at a government agency as an admin staff when I was still in college. My main job was to update centralized databases with the given raw data from different source documents and compile it into one file. As an admin staff, I also took care of all the walk-ins and phone call inquiries from individuals with appointments with attorneys and any matters relevant to our department. I then worked as a customer support assistant on an Australian Bank campaign. As a customer support assistant, I worked as back-office staff for almost 2 years. My role was critical since it's in the financial industry, and any wrong information may lead to a financial loss for the business. One of my jobs was to input the right data of the customer into one of our portals that we use to send letters directly to our customers. We made sure that we were keen to details and all the data were correct since they would be sent directly to the customer, and any wrong information would impact the business itself. I was assigned as a "Master Checker" for some of the processes in our team. A master checker's main job is to check our colleagues' work, making sure that all the details are correct and rectifying all possible errors that may lead to a negative impact on the business. My most recent job is as a Chargeback & Disputes Analyst in a Financial Tech Campaign based in the US. My main job is to investigate and initiate a dispute per clients'/customers' request. We handle different business industries (Banks, Food Deliveries, Supermarkets, Fuel Stations, etc.) which experience different disputes (Fraud Scams, Consumer Disputes, Processing Errors, etc.). As a chargeback and disputes analyst, we communicate with our clients/customers via email (Zendesk), and we always make sure that all the details being sent to them are correct because any misleading information may cause a financial loss for the business. In this industry, critical thinking and thorough analysis are the main skills that you must possess. This role is very challenging because every day we encounter different scenarios that need extra care when handling cases.
Experience: 6 months - 1 year
As a Chargeback & Dispute Analyst, I managed and processed a wide range of chargeback and dispute cases across industries such as banking, food delivery, supermarkets, and fuel stations. My responsibilities included investigating claims related to fraud, consumer disputes, and processing errors, ensuring each case was thoroughly analyzed and resolved. I communicated with clients primarily via email to provide clear updates on case status and handled escalated cases with precision. I also tracked the progress of disputes, making critical decisions on case filings and outcomes. In addition, I maintained detailed records and reports to prevent financial loss and ensure compliance with industry standards.
