My first account was in the Intuit QuickBooks Desktop - Payroll Department, where I worked as a customer service/technical support. We assist them in purchasing QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier and Enterprise. We also help them update their QuickBooks Software. We help set up their employees and add Payroll items such as hourly wage, overtime, health insurance, social security, federal and state tax, company contributions, and deductions. We helped them add the payroll items and walked them through the step-by-step process until printed a check for invoices. We help them schedule their payment for the payroll and we also troubleshoot if there are taxes that are not properly calculated. My second account was at Comcast as Customer service/Technical Support as well. This account is Chat Support but there are times we do outbound calls if we disconnected with customers in the process of troubleshooting their issues. We assist them in purchasing Cable, Internet, Phone and Home Security Services. We help them troubleshoot if they there are problems with the service such as the internet is not working. We assist them in basic troubleshooting, sending signals to the modem and if there are no outages, we create a ticket and scheduled technician visit to their homes.
