o Responsible for the management of the recruitment and selection process and the coordination of training activities of the Department;
o Responsible in performing administrative and technical tasks e.g., preparation of monthly report on accession and separation, report of appointments issued, preparation of minutes of meetings of various HR committees;
o Work and assist closely with departments in implementing company policies and procedures;
o Develop job descriptions and person specifications;
o Create and implement policies in relation to working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
o Advise in pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits;
o Undertake regular salary reviews;
o Maintain and secure confidentiality of employees’ records;
o Interpret and advise employer on labor law;
o Monitor government mandated benefits and deductions;
o Assist in payroll procedures;
o Work and assist the paralegal officer in making affidavits under writing, claims and other dispute-related documents; and
o Perform other related tasks delegated by the company.
