Experience: 10+ years
1. Responsible in supervising and managing the General Ledger (FS Generation) Department, ensures that the monthly financial results are completed accurately and on a timely basis. 2. Duties and Essential Functions: a. Ensures appropriate resources and staffing are available for the Department, b. Drives processes changes to effect efficiencies in overall accounting, finance and business processes, c. Develops, maintains and upgrades financial systems and controls, d. Reviews and ensures adequate internal controls for all areas of direct responsibility, e. Researches and analyses financial systems, practices and procedures, recommends improvements and assists in their development and implementation, f. Leads and manages the monthly and annual financial statement closing process. Ensures accurate and timely reporting of financial results in accordance with the prevailing accounting standards, g. Participates on all strategic initiatives involving accounting matters, h. Prepares and monitors department budget and expenses to ensure minimal variance.
Experience: 10+ years
1. Oversees the whole operation of the accounting and finance department and responsible for the consolidation of financial reports including its analysis vital to the needs of both internal and external users. 2. Preparation and filing of financial statements and income tax returns to various government regulatory agencies and supervision of all matters concerning taxes. 3. Monitors the cash position of all subsidiaries and responsible for all money market placements, investments and time deposits. 4. Responsible for financial, operational and performance audit of all subsidiaries to determine compliance and effectiveness of internal controls and existing system and procedures.
