I'm Chris, and my BPO journey started at 19. Landed my first gig at Ibex for a healthcare campaign with one of the biggest NEMT brokers in the US. Handling inbound calls from health insurance members, helping them book rides to medical appointments, and ensuring they understood their health plan's ride benefits. Spent a solid year making sure their experience was smooth, safe, and ended with a smile.
Then I landed a job at TaskUs, diving into the largest ride-hailing/food delivery company in the US in the Accounts and Payments department. My responsibilities involved managing inbound calls from drivers/delivery partners, key tasks such as establishing accounts, ensuring the completeness of required documents and licenses, and checking the status of their background checks to enhance their earnings. Payment-related matters are well within my expertise, ranging from configuring profiles (Instant Pay and direct deposit) to conducting initial investigations into earnings discrepancies. Providing comprehensive education to earners regarding platform policies is a definite forte.
Most recently, I joined TTEC as part of the Outbound Sales team for Verizon Wireless, targeting US consumers. My role involved promoting wireless products, offering tailored quotations, and closing sales while ensuring customer satisfaction and accuracy in handling accounts. Later, I transitioned to a Customer Service Representative role within the same account, where I handled inbound calls, resolved billing inquiries, assisted with service upgrades, and educated customers about ongoing promotions. Working on one of the top telecommunications accounts helped me hone my ability to manage high volumes of interactions while maintaining a solution-oriented approach.
