I have worked as a Virtual Policyholder Specialist in the Personal Lines Insurance industry for nearly a year. My responsibilities included quoting and servicing issued policies. I was involved in new business quoting and re-marketing, primarily using EZLynx as my main tool. I managed changes to auto and home policies, such as adding, deleting, or replacing vehicles, updating coverage, and sending out ID cards, proof of insurance, declaration pages, and other required documents.
For home policies, I had the authority to change coverage, add Scheduled Personal Property (SPP), and adjust the replacement cost if there were upgrades to the home or changes in the client's policy.
Additionally, I worked as an MIS Officer, overseeing the MIS/IT department with a team of six members in the food industry. I was responsible for managing hardware, software, internet services, telephone lines, CCTV, and biometric devices during the opening of new branches. This role also involved handling applications for online delivery partners, obtaining BIR permits for the Point of Sale system, and securing BIR accreditation for the accounting system.
For executive committee meetings, I prepared and submitted monthly sales reports. These reports included filters based on food categories, highlighting the top 20 branches ranked by sales from highest to lowest and the bottom 50 filtered by product sales. I was one of the decision-makers in assessing which software, hardware, and materials to purchase, ensuring they met our requirements and budget while satisfying management needs.
As the head of the MIS/IT department, I also oversaw all backend systems, including Timekeeping, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Inventory, and the Online Delivery Platform. Additionally, I managed the maintenance of the database.
I utilized Excel with PivotTables to prepare reports and Google Sheets for monitoring reported concerns. I possess basic knowledge of SQL (Select statements), Tableau, e-commerce, and PowerPoint.
