As a Medical Virtual Assistant, I provide remote administrative and clinical support to
healthcare providers, including managing appointments by setting up new ones,
rescheduling or canceling them to ensure a conflict-free calendar, and reminding
patients of follow-up visits and clinical meetings. I handle patient inquiries via phone
and
and update and maintain patient records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
while protecting sensitive data. Additionally, I assist with medical billing and coding,
insurance claims, electronic billing, claims follow-up, and dead claim recovery, as
well as helping with prescription refills and prior authorizations.
