My year at Tom N Toms Coffee further solidified these skills, exposing me to a slightly different customer base and refining my ability to adapt my service style accordingly.Beyond the food service industry, my two years as a car sales agent provided invaluable experience in understanding customer motivations and guiding them through significant purchasing decisions.
This role required active listening, explaining complex information clearly, and building rapport to establish trust. I learned to navigate objections, negotiate effectively, and ultimately, ensure customer satisfaction.
While the product was different, the core principle of providing excellent customer service remained the same.
Even in my roles as Operations Manager of a flower shop and Social Media Manager for a gift shop, customer interaction was a constant.
