Profile Description

I am a registered Nutritionist Dietitian who works for Dexcom, Durable Medical Equipment provider. I joined Dexcom as a Patient Billing Specialist in 2019, and I am responsible in contacting different insurance providers to determine eligibility, coverage and benefits of our patients. I do eligibility/coverage check through phone call, email, fax, and/or using numerous portals. I've been part of different projects which helped our patients obtain their supplies in shorter period of time. During those times, I made sure that I have an open communication with my manager, and it helped me discuss some process improvements, and I’ve been vocal about my professional goals. They allowed me to experience other processes of Finance Department, for learning and exposure, because my leaders saw a potential in me as a future leader. I experienced working with Accounts Receivable department and helped on their clean-up project. I helped reviewed overpayment, underpayment and refund to Upgrade to see actual info helped me see the impact of my work and help me understand Dexcom’s revenue cycle management. As a result, they let me discuss its RCM to new hires, to give them a glimpse how our work can impact our operations. However, due to a business decision, the process was dissolved, and I was transferred to a different Upgrade to see actual infow I am part of a team that focuses on post-market surveillance and quality assurance. My skills were honed to look for discrepancies and make sure that reports that will be submitted to US FDA doesn't contain errors. I've also led and been part of the Sharepoint Team and we created a database, which served as a one stop shop for all files needed on our department.
To add, prior joining Dexcom, I've been with Hinduja Global Solutions and I handled a top-tier insurance (Aetna International). I served as a Member Services Team for companies like Cognizant, Ernst and Young, Facebook Upgrade to see actual info, Genpact Foshan, Cognita and other big companies all around the world. We communicate with them through phone call and email. A rough estimate of 15-20 emails from the C-positions, directors, managers, are being handled every day. I think I can use this experience and learning if I'll be chosen to be part of your team.
Fun fact about me: I help a startup business during weekends on people management, marketing and standardization of process, free of charge. I help them achieved their goal and increase their yearly sales up to 25%.
