?I began my career as an accountant for a local business, where I created financial reports, tracked income and expenses, and reported financial performance to executives and management. This experience honed my ability to provide clear and accurate financial insights.
I then worked as a bookkeeping assistant to the financial controller of an Australia-based accounting and advisory services firm that focuses on construction and trade businesses. Here, I handled multiple clients, recorded business expenses in Xero, reconciled bank transactions, updated accounts payable, and assisted in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial health reports.
In my most recent role, I have been supporting a US-based ecommerce business. I respond to customer inquiries, update orders on Shopify and Amazon, handle administrative tasks, communicate with manufacturers and vendors, match and categorize bank transactions using QuickBooks, update accounts payable statements, and send out payment remittances to vendors.
