Profile Description

With 9 years of experience as Healthcare associate in a US-Based Worker's Comp Insurance Company, 3 years as Medical VA in a US-based OB-Gyn & Pediatric Clinic and Physician's Independent Laboratory and 1 year experience as Legal assistant in a Personal Injury Firm.
I was able to  successfully managed a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
- HIPAA Certified / Compliant with HIPAA rules, standards, policies and procedures that maintains patient's confidentiality in accordance to HIPAA- EHR/EMR Management (EPIC, Cerner)- Predictive triage- Telephonic Case Manager assistant- Effectively handling inbound and outbound calls- Patient intake- Sending out registration/consent forms- Maintain database- Assists in setting up patient's portal w/ minimal troubleshooting- Scheduling appointments/check-ups- Scheduling procedure in-office or in other healthcare facilities- Confirms appointments and managing cancellation of appointments- Coordinating with healthcare facilities/providers to obtain Pt's medical record- Effectively handling communication via email, phone calls, SMS, fax and chat- Conducts insurance verification- Medical Biller/Coder- Assists in credentialing of providers  - Completing FMLA and RTW forms of patients- Sorting out files/documents- Helping on-site managers/supervisors with their tasks- Sending out lab reports; call patient's regarding results and prescribe desired medications and plan of care- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
