I am a person that is not afraid to try new things and learn in the process. Every skill that I have acquired, I have applied to climb the corporate ladder and reach my goals. I have experience in communications and talking to customers, providing both technical and customer support.
I have started my work journey with a few BPO companies, from accounts with telecommunications to handling after sales service and support for a vehicle brand. After a few years, learning how to handle customers, complaints, technical support and mastery of various tools for office and business, I started my local employment with a local IT company, a distributor of video conference systems. I came in before softwares and apps were used in video conference and unified communications. I was selling B2B to end customers and channel partners various models of room based video conference systems and audio conferencing phones. Gaining knowledge and skill in doing presentations to customers and preparing costings and project proposals for various opportunities.
Later on, I was offered a job in a startup company as the Sales and Marketing Manager. The company offers professional and commercial audiovisual solutions to customers. Here I was trained in a new type of solution dealing with display, audio and control technologies. I have been doing presentations to customers about potential solutions and systems that they can use, as well as educating our partners about how to qualify customers and how to effectively scope for possible opportunities. I have also kept track of the proposals and quotes, also updating our pricelists for the sales personnel that I hired. I have also learned basic audiovisual systems design with this company. In my tenure here, I have joined them at the time when they had no projects and no revenue, on my first few months, we had a few million pesos worth of projects, and in my full year with the help of our whole leadership and management in the company we have breached the 100 million pesos revenue goal.
Right after leaving, the AV Systems Integrator company, I was hired as a Business Development Manager of another startup company an Audiovisual and IT Company. I have helped in building our product portfolio and engaged in talks with manufacturers to be their local partner here in the Philippines. I have also completed talks to be one of the dealers of both established and large electronics manufacturing companies and new and upcoming electronics companies that has exciting new technologies in the audiovisual systems market. I have acquired skills in training our partners and customers, as well as relationship management with our shareholders, customers and manufacturers. After a few years, I was also accepted and promoted as the Director of Sales and Marketing, focusing primarily on Audiovisual solutions. What I can offer for my would be employers is my experience and skills that I have learned during my employment, in business development, marketing, systems design, sales, relationship management, corporate presentations and training.
