Profile Description

I am a registered nurse in the Philippines since 2011. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at Our Lady of Fatima University. I've been a hands-on nurse with my patients of different needs and cases. I assisted in many different bedside procedures such as bone-biopsy, lung biopsy, minor wound suturing, minor and major wound dressing and a lot of small surgical procedures. I also have experience in working with medical cases such as those Diabetic patients, Hypertensive ones, those undergoing chemotherapy and alike.
I also worked as a doctor's assistant in an out-patient department. I distribute patients' prescriptions. I explain to them thoroughly and clearly their medicines-- what are they for and when to take them. As a nurse educator, I educate them what are the do's and don'ts while they are on medications. I even discuss to them the effects of the medicines so they don't have to be anxious in taking them.
My doctors and colleagues highly recommend me as being punctual in my workplace. I can work under pressure and do multi-tasking if needed to. I can deal professionally on irate clients and to my seniors. I also have good skills in documentation-- both in wriUpgrade to see actual info and in electronic.
