Profile Description

I have 4 years of work experience in Upgrade to see actual info my stint in the commercial bank, I was responsible for the production of daily profit and loss (PL) analysis and reporting, preparation of market commentaries to explain significant PL movements and events, reconciliation of income statement and balance sheet to risk systems, price verification and analysis to ensure pricing to fair value as required by FAS 157 for mark-to-market accounting, liaising with other areas internal and external of Finance to ensure consistent adherence to policies and procedures, coordinating resolution of issues with cross-functional teams, including front office, market risk and operations, and performing analysis for ad hoc requests regarding regulatory, valuation, risk, and operational concerns.
Furthermore, I also got the chance to work in the central bank, mainly responsible for providing banking services to the National Government (NG), its political subdivisions and instrumentalities, as well as government-owned and controlled corporations in line with the central bank’s role as a fiscal agent, responsible for servicing FX requirements of central bank including payment and receipt of transactions in foreign currency denomination, and liaises with various government agencies on the receipt and disbursement of project loans. I also did a lot of research on companies, investment securities, and various economies in which I’m very knowledgeable navigating through Thomson Reuters. I'm also a Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 Passer.
I was also engaged in some freelance jobs for some businesses, responsible for bookkeeping, producing financial statements from scratch (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement).
