I am well-versed in excel and other MS office applications. Furthermore, I am familiar with the use of some ERP and CRM software, such as AMWS (Advance Manager's Work Station), JDA, Oracle, ICE System (Inventory Control System), Microsoft Dynamics Nav and LS Retail.

I'm a former Area Manager. I managed the retail and wholesale operations of the business. The list of my responsibilities in my previous job is below.

Area Manager 
• Manage the over-all day-to-day operations within the organization to ensure efficiency. 
• Manages 3 Kaibar (Food Bar/QSR), Retail Business ChUpgrade to see actual infols (3 Supermarket and 3 Department Store) and 1 Wholesale and Distribution Center. 
• Plan, implement and monitor operational strategies. 
• Identify operational bottlenecks and suggest solutions for improvement. 
• Assists in recruitment and selection of new employees. 
• Assists in creation of Training modules/plans and provides training and development for employees.

Additional Key Responsibilities: 

Group Procurement (Local and Overseas) & Marketing Management :
• Maintains relationship with existing suppliers while sourcing for a new one. 
• Negotiating favorable supplier agreements and managing supplier contracts. 
• Manages the group’s Item/product Master. 
• Responsible for creation/data entry of new products in the system (MS Dynamics Nav) and updating of product’s information in the system when needed. 
• Pricing of products based on landed cost, gp target/budget per product category, and current market trend (through price survey) to ensure price competitiveness without compromising the company’s profitability. 
• Develops procurement strategies that are cost-effective. 
• Maintains optimum inventory level to meet customer needs and sales as budgeted. 
• Negotiates with the Suppliers to gain support and/or deals. 
• Prepares and finalizes purchase orders for the group to sustain product availability. 
• Approves purchase order created by the branch as top-up or special order. 
• Monitors B.O. and ensures product replacement or credit note issuance as per supplier agreement. 
• Prepares monthly and seasonal promotions, specials and events to drive sales, eliminate aging and slow-moving products to ensure good cash flow. 
• Approves store and supplier-initiated promotions and prepares system set up.
• Conceptualizes and approves graphic designs/ promotion artworks for online and newspaper publication. 

Logistics Management: 
• Monitors the inbound and outbound container deliveries. 
• Liaises with supplier and shipping company to ensure that the required certificates and/or licenses are available. 
• Direct, optimize, and coordinate full order cycle. 
• Arrange/organize warehouse per category, plot routes and process shipments. 
• Manages warehouse inventory. 
• Manages proper distribution of goods (based on allocation) and plans delivery schedule. 

Recruitment and Selection: 
• Assist in talent hunting and conducts technical interview and final for Retail Operation’s (management positions) applicants (local and expats). 

Special Project: 

Project Management: ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Software System Change-over: 
• Prepare the Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) for retail operations and POS
system. 
• Business Process Owner for retail operations - ensured that the all operations
requirements were met. 
• Close coordination with the system programmers to ensure proper development of system based on Retail operation’s requirements. 
• Assist in system’s cycle UAT (User Acceptance Testing). 
• Prepared post-UAT reports. 
• Assisted in end-user training. 
• Assisted in system roll-out planning and operations preparation. 
• Assisted and monitored the activities during system Go-live. 
• Prepared post-implementation reports concerning the system’s defects/issues and required customization to ensure smooth business operations.
