Profile Description

? Proofread financial documents, corporate annual reports, charts, graphs and tables.
? Read proofs against copy and correct errors in type, format, grammar, punctuation, or spelling.
? Pro-actively inform the Client Services and Operations Officer of any grammatical errors, misspellings in the source
file provided and inconsistencies with the standard House style or Client-specific style
? Compare information or figures on one record against same data on other records or original copy to detect errors.
? Refer to stylebook, or create style sheet that follows the style of the copy being Upgrade to see actual infoasure size, spacing, and
positioning on the page to verify agreement with rules, using printer’s ruler.
? Distribute proofs with marked corrections for reprint or review.
? Ensure that the Clients Services and Production Officer is given an up-to-date status of jobs and estimated time of
completion
? Clarify any job-specific queries/issues with the Clients Services and Production Officer
? Ensure that a thorough final check is conducted prior to submission of any and all jobs
