My 12-year career as a banker opened the doors to my personal and professional growth. I started as a teller where one of my main functions is to cater to cash transactions of our clients. Though I am mainly focused on cash, this did not limit me from taking initiative and learning about other branch operations. I was then rotated/assigned to New Accounts and Sales and this is where I started to develop my passion for customer service. Eventually, I got promoted as a Setvice Manager. This is a more challenging position but I used it as an opportunity to learn more, influence and motivate my staff to work towaeds a common goal -- provide excellent customer service to keep and grow our client network and cross-sell to achieve the bank's targets. One of the many values I learned and I believe most important are integrity, dedication and patience. Working in a bank means first and foremost taking care of the trust that our customers give us. While I managed to execute my responsibilities in accordance with the bank's policies, my priority was delivering customer satisfaction.
My professional career as a banker was not always a bed of roses. Every difficulty I encountered was a lesson learned and became my tool to improve myself in every way possible.
