Detail-oriented and analytical
Experience working with insurance websites
Time management: the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Billing experience is a plus
Tasks will include (but not limited to):

Insurance eligibility: using patient information to confirm their insurance eligibility is up to date and current
Cash posting and collections
Claim status updates
Relaying financial statement information for any payment inconsistencies or errors
Collaborating with team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors
Confirming billing modifier codes match and are appropriate
Confirming resident information matches their profile
Confirming billing codes such as CPT codes, Diagnosis codes, PDPM scores, Rug scores, and other codes for billing are appropriate
