eCommerce Bookkeeper (Xero, Shopify & A2X)

Our clients are ambitious eCommerce business owners who need structured financial systems but often feel overwhelmed by the numbers. We bridge the gap between finance and digital marketing, ensuring that financial data is not just recorded but provides meaningful insights for growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an eCommerce Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining clean, accurate books that allow eCommerce brands to make smart financial decisions. Your key responsibilities will include:

? Transaction Categorisation & Reconciliation: Ensure all sales, refunds, fees, and payments from Shopify, PayPal, etc. are accurately recorded and reconciled in Xero via A2X.
? Accounts Payable & Receivable Management: Track supplier invoices, reconcile purchase orders, and ensure timely payments.
? Inventory Costing & COGS Tracking: Ensure correct valuation and cost tracking for inventory.
? Financial Reporting Support: Prepare profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports to provide clients with clear financial insights.
? VAT/GST Reconciliation: Assist in ensuring compliance with local tax requirements (experience with international VAT/GST is a plus).
? Collaboration with the CFO: Work alongside the CFO to maintain financial accuracy and support forecasting efforts.

Essential Requirements
???? Xero Certification (must-have)
???? A2X Experience (must-have)
???? Previous bookkeeping experience in eCommerce
???? Strong understanding of Shopify and payment processors
???? Ability to accurately reconcile COGS and inventory transactions
???? High attention to detail and accuracy in reconciliation
???? A willingness to learn and improve processes
???? Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
???? Bonus: Experience with multi-currency transactions, VAT/GST compliance, or eCommerce-specific financial tools
