Koi is highly selective and only partners with education-based, researched-backed brands that we believe are revolutionizing their industries.
You will be working directly with the founders and creative directors Mike and Matty, who have accrued over 1 million+ subs and 100 million+ views on youtube.
**Who We're Looking For**
We are seeking a Youtube Video Editor who specializes in educational, talking head videos, and telling brand stories.
**Employment Type:**
Full-Time, Remote. We are NOT looking for an agency.
**Job Requirements**
- Proven experience in creating viral or high-performing long-form AND short-form videos that drive high view counts and significant audience growth
- Deep knowledge/expertise in YouTube meta-trends, including relevant creators, new algorithm changes, and analytics.
- Extremely deadline-oriented with an understanding of the importance of project timelines.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on learning and growing as a team.
**Technical Requirements: You must know how to use the following tools:**
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Canva
- Google Drive
- Notion

**Language Requirements**
Candidates must be fluent in English and create videos with no spelling or grammatical errors.
**Responsibilities**
- Editing and Assembling Footage: Cut, splice, and edit raw footage into a cohesive and engaging final product, adhering to the project's vision and goals.
- Sound Design and Mixing: Enhance video content with appropriate soundtracks, sound effects, and audio mixing to improve viewer experience.
- Color Grading and Correction: Adjust and enhance color settings to ensure visual consistency and appeal across all projects.
- Graphics and Special Effects: Incorporate motion graphics and special effects as needed to enhance the storytelling aspect of videos.
- Collaboration with Creative Teams: Work closely with directors, producers, and other tea
- Timely Delivery of Projects: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Quality Control and Revisions: Conduct thorough reviews of all edits, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions to achieve the desired outcome.
- Staying Current with Industry Trends: Regularly update skills and knowledge in video editing techniques, software, and trends.
- Creative Flair: A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of storytelling through visual media.
- Teamwork and Communication: Excellent communication skills and experience working collaboratively with remote teams.
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Comfortable adapting to client feedback and changing project requirements.
